Ben L. Hall served 3 terms in the New Mexico Legislative House of Representatives:

While there he was a member of:

  • Member of Business and Industry Committee -- 6 years

  • Member of Transportation Committee -- 4 years

  • Member of Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Committee -- 2 years

  • Member of Higher Education Interm Committee -- 6 years

  • Lincoln County Commissioner -- 2 terms

  • Served on Airport Board -- 4 years

  • Member of the Lincoln County Planning & Zoning -- 12 years
    Extraterritorial Member -- 2 years

  • Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Joint Use Board -- 4 years

Other Accomplishments:

  • Finance Officer for Lincoln County Commissioners -- 4 years
    (Responsible for receiving and distributing federal and state funding for Lincoln County projects)

  • Secured money for Capital Outlay from NM State Legislature to retore two buildings at Fort Stanton to help preserve them from further deterioration:  Building 13, General Pershing's House and Building 9 (new roof on this building).

  • Secured Capital Outlay funds to restore Fort Stanton Cemetery -- to replace all the white wooden crosses there that were in need of repair.

  • Secured the funds from NM Highway Department to construct Highway 220 to present airport.

Private Sector:

  • Was licensed New Mexico Building contractor for almost 40 years.
