- Secured Capital Outlay funds to restore Fort Stanton Cemetery -- to replace all the white wooden crosses there that were in need of repair.
- Secured the funds from NM Highway Department to construct Highway 220 to present airport.

- Was licensed New Mexico Building contractor for almost 40 years.
